WHAT R UR THOUGHTS
What are the benefits of an aftermarket CDI. I know it increases your rpms but is it needed when I can rev my warrior past where dies out in power. By this I mean when the throttle is pinned its revin really hard and seems like it should be going faster but isnt. Will the cdi benefit low and mid range or is it not worth it. Also check out that so called MAGIC BOX. Anyone have one. What r ur thoughts on it. I cant post the link so youll have to browse the site for it. Just go to products and than magic power box click here

A good one changes the advance curve to make the motor more responsive, but unless its programmable its just a generic curve. Anyway, tuning ignition curves is serious fine tuning thats done to eek out the last bit of HP. It does help with bottom end and responsiveness, if theres any more to be eeked out, I dunno if a warrior needs it or not. That magic power box is not a CDI, its just some sort of voltage regulator type thing.

First off, Procom is junk.
If you get an aftermarket cdi you want one that will effect more than just the upper rev limiter. This rules out 90% of the units you find on ebay and many of the products offered by online retailers. Dyna is the best bet, you know you will be getting quality and the best you can buy.
That said, if you start going with a big advance or revving to the moon with a stroker you could be blowing things pretty quick.

w/ all the mods u have id say it would deff be a good investment cuz lets say yur rev limiter kicks in at 8000rpm's if u have make that higher to say 9000-9500 rpm's yur engine will keep pulling instead of leveling off(correct me if im wrong but i think thats how they work)
