Default Turbo?

Well, i have an 03 660R Raptor, and im looking to put a turbo on it. We (me and my dad) wouldn't be buying a kit or anything for 4 grand, so we have a smaller turbo already that we got from ebay. It works fine and there not that hard to set up, just the mounting it somewhere and the only other problem that we face is an oil line, we need to find somewhere we can tap and put an oil line that has oil pressure to feed oil to the turbo. Im wondering if any of you know where they usually do this for the kits, like where they put the oil lines at on the engine. Thanks for the help in advance.

P.S. No worry about the mechanical issue, my dads a master mechanic and im just wondering if any of you know anything about turbos that could be helpful to us.

Itd be faster, it would double my horsepower atleast. Id accelerate fast as hell if the turbo was on there, like you could barley hang on fast, im not sure about top end though, if it does happen and the turbo does go on it, ill be sure to share.

dont you need a efi kit to run turbo, on a raptor????? the other kit you buy online all have a fuel injection kit for them... you are going to need more fuel if you run a turbo.. or am i mistaken

it for sure will make the tuning WAY easier. I had my raptor turbo with carbs and it was a pain in the a#$. So I just sold the kit I made and put a streetbike motor on mine. hope this helps some.

there is so much more than just mounting a turbo, hooking up an oil line and blowing hot air through it to make more power
- good luck to you!
BTW which turbo are you running?- if it's too small you'll lose your top end - that is if you can get the carbs running right- I'm not doging your abilities but you are in for a lot of frustration unless you have a lot of hands on experiance building turbo systems for large displacement single cylinder engines.
