I bought a 28mm cpw carb and have not installed it, however im looking at a 30mm PKW carb I can get for cheap $ 129.99 new, my question is when I bought the 28mm CPW I had yet to buy many mods, now ive decided to do a lot more, so far I have bougth

**** fmf powercore 2 with fatty pipe
**** k&n filter with no lid
**** lightend flywheel
**** v force reeds
.......................................in your oppinon with these mods, what carb would be best for my application ? please help

the 28.. the 30 is too much carb for you. the 28 will work perfect, for the 30 you need Port&Polish, head mod, and Bored to a 240, the 30 will be to much, stick with the 28 BTW, theirs so such thing as a DURABLUE ELIMINATOR AXLE +6"

 

Thanks, I know there is no such as a durablue +6 lol, its a +4 for the banshee, that means its a +6 for my blaster so in a way the do make a plus 6 they just dont call it that ....thanks for the reply though, I will keep my 28mm, Im new into the atv's and this blaster is what I bought for my girlfriend, I have no intent to ride it, so its all for her, what do you think the HP gains are with all the mods ? im guessing i dropped about 10 lbs with the lightweight stuff then that added stuff like nerf bars , and she is only 115 lbs, will this blaster be able to keep up better with my friends and I on our big four strokes ? like raptor, yfz 450 ? were not super good riders but I was wondering if it would keep up now with all the money put into it, if not im gonna part it out, sell the blaster back at stock and just buy her a raptor 350, heck would that raptor 350 even be faster than my blaster with the mods ??

 

They will both work... The 28mm will be a little better on the bottom end.... The 30mm will work better if you have the cylinder ported, that's even if you have a big bore or not...

 

You might want to have the head shaved to increase your compression a little....

 

Yea with all those im sure she'll have alot of fun, verry peppy bike, expecialy with what you have. im sure she will stay up with the raptor and so fourth. The stock blaster is a hair shorter then stock Raptor 350, but with those mods its rather quicker.Have fun! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
