my friend has a yfz hes getting the cam mood done HMF exhaust and hey alrdy has GYTR air filter
the banshee i want is a 1998 Banshee flat side carbs, fmf pipes, reed cage-spacers, vito power pistons

he said he will still beat me what do u guyz think?? i no a banshee w/ pipes w/ go high 70's so w/ all these mods i figured low to mid 80's?? what do u guyz think and also how fast will he go w/ his mods i no this is a stupid post but i havfta no so i can prove him wrong and then b bragging that i got a quad thats faster then him fer $3000 cheaper

 

I think that he might take you. It should be close just hit the sweet spots.

 

He's doing the cam mod eh.... : / Those FLLYY with that mod and with the FMF pipes on the shee it's just gonna hold you back. Id say that he would beat you.

well if i got that banshee i would probally either get LRD or cpi inline or rocket pipes and porting done i think ill kill him after that right?? or does that cam mod really open them up that much that they will b doin mid to high 80's

Those CPI's rule..and yes the cam mod really makes it accelerate so much faster and with that HMF it's gonna pull really hard. But if you got CPI pipes and porting along with your flatside carb, id put the money on you to win..

 

so simply put FMF pipes suck?

Nah, they don't SUCK but they lack power that some of the other pipes have such as CPI,LRD, and Rockets...IMO having FMF's on a shee is REALLY holding you back on power. Get those CPI's or LRD's and you will wonder why you had FMF's on there. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

gotcha is that cuz fmf is more of a low end pipe? and lrd and cpi r more mid to top? i no the sites say they r but sum times they say that just to get u to buy themis there ne one on here w/ lrd cpi or rockets that i could ask about gains? lrd has a dyno on there site showing 49.8 hp w/ jsut there pipes and rocket had one w/ there pipes and idk what else showing lik 79 and it was compared to cpi and the cpi pipes only made 70
