when my warrior sets for very long it always smokes a little bit when you first start it let it run for a minute turn it off and back on and no smoke does not use any oil or anything like that and i have found out that my fuel shut off does not work.maybe it's just one of those things.

i've noticed that since i installed my HMF slipon i've had some smoke coming from the endcap(not the normal white smoke) but a lil browner and it seems to just roll out and off to the side instead of gonig straight out..

my raptor does that at start up too, you can see smoke coming out of the tail pipe, but after about a minute, it stops. my dad said it was from the valve guides being out of adjustment and said that it won't effect anything ,and that we'll fix them next winter.

That is the valve seals and they will need to be replaced. It really does not hurt anything other than your feelings. Just make sure you keep the oil checked and get them changed when you can.

I have a 05 raptor 350 with about 30 maybe 40 hours on it and every time I use the choke at all it smokes for like 30 seconds and even if i dont use the choke if i havent cranked it in about 4-5 days it will smoke like 10-20 secs real light.

Isn't it just the stale gas burning out after it has been sitting, i dont think i can think of anyone whos bike/quad doesn;t smoke for a little after it sits for a little. I'm sure some oil will pass through the seals a little but not enough to cause damage or really worry about it. But I may be wrong
