i dunno, but you got a long time befor a Turbo.. you need a full exhaust, pro-flow intake, cam, Valves, springs, Port&polish, rods, ect...

No you don't, you don't NEED any of that stuff. I could go and bolt on one right now and fabricate a mounting spot, and the exhaust to work and it would work just fine if you have the right PSI. If i added any of those things you listed itd be faster and probably better, but you don't need any of that stuff. And full exhaust? heh, what you talking about...if you get the kit you should get the "modified" exhaust headers and pipes, or if you don't get that, i could hack up the one on it already (stock) and itd work fine.

i agree it would def. be faster and probably more relialable then without. But if you only have 4 or 5 psi goin into it its gona be fine, but if i did get that stuff, i could probably up the psi and create more power...but my point is that you don't NEED it to run a turbo

ur gonna have to do more modifying cause the engine is designed to let out the air it sucks in. if you start forcing air into it, then its not foing to let enough out to run right.

yea, go throw a turbo on your DEAD STOCK raptor and tell us how it goes. the engine cant handle 5-6psi shoved threw it. you need to mod it for more flow... but like sleepy said, its not my engine its yours... theirs so many cheeper more efficent ways to get the HP then simply bolting up a turbo.. turbo is one of the last mods you do.. oh, btw, for a turbo you need EFI , and i saw a complete kit, it cost up words of $4,000, i dunno if that fits in your budget. spend 1/3 of that and send your engine to craycraft and they will build and engine 2X as fast as a stock engine with a turbo..

Your right, there are many ways to get more HP with less money, but i like being different then evryone else, thats one thing that i enjoy. BTW, you don't need need EFI, its a nice plus though, becasue carbs are a pain in the **** with turbos.

ok, what ever, but you need ALOT of experience to hook up a turbo and make it work with carbs....... and ALOT of trouble, its not just bolt up and go. you say you want to be different, which is ok, but their is a reason people dont have turbo's on stock raptors w/ carbs.... it just doesnt work that easily and i dont feel like getting into it, you will never get it to work, unless you have a VERY expeirienced person try and tune the carbs to work with the turbo... good luck you seem hopeless
