Its simply not "cool" to put people down for what they ride...Grow up. The Raptor is not the best thing sliced bread to everyone including me and I own one. Incredible how sensitive people get when they spend 7 grand on an atv isn't it?

I have riden my raptor for 8+ hours and have had no problems! NOT easy riding! We are talking 2 to 3 feet deep woop sections. I am hitting these 4th and 5th gear 3/4 to full throtle. It handles this kind of beating without a problem! I have sailed the raptor over 10 feet through the air and landed on flat hard ground with no problem. What i'm tring to say is that if someone is folding upper a-arms and bending axles then there has to be some rider error involved!

I cannot imagine anything as unbelieveable as someone that has owned a quad for just a couple of weeks and has already replaced three axles, bent 4 a-arms and taco'd all four rims. It sounds more like you made up the whole thing just to get a reaction and don't even own a Raptor. No one is that abusive to quads. And none of us are stupid enough to look for a "right rear a-arm". I suppose you have front and rear a-arms on your Raptor, huh?
BTW - if we all got along, these forums would be VERY boring. Just ignore the children - that's the best way to deal with it.

I did make it all up,
but in reality we have 1 maybe 2 reports of bent A-arms, and up to 3 people with bent axles. Some Non Owners are saying the raptor is junk basically and everyone else is making a big deal out of it.
Yes I have a raptor and have had it since 9-7-00

I've had my raptor for two weeks.I've been jumping hills ,jumping from an 8 ft. cliff on hard dirt, wheelies, running high speed on uneven rolling humps, just to name a few with not a sign of a problem.I had a 300ex and bent the axle, rims, handle bars. My point is,is that no atv is without a weak point. If you push it hard enough you will find it. As far as honda the 300ex is a good machine. I am thinking of getting one for my 4 yr.old daughter to play on until she can graduate to a Raptor.

I own a ds650 for your information there "slick". That is very very pathetic if you were to cut on me for owning a 300ex. Get a life man , seriously. I think you need to grow up and act like an adult. For once. Thank you

that explains why you came in here with your mouth running then doesnt it. So can you please enlighten us on stage 5. Is it more like the 3mph faster you can go, or is it trying to wedge that thing in a truck bed or down a tight trail. Maybe Its the feel of it gliding through the air and all 575lbs of it landing. please enlighten me and the rest of the raptor owners.

Oh my gosh, i can picture you just crying your eyes out when you typed that YamahaRaptor. You sound like you dont even ride a raptor, you just like to cry about things. Whne i said stage "5" i was just joking around, and little babbies like you start to cry and make a fight. Why dont you let go of mommy's hand and have a sence of humer. The "i'm a hard azz" isnt working over the internet. Well when were jumping through the air on that "500 lb ds" at least we can land w/ sucurity, and not the fear of busting one of the aluminum components. Hey man you started this fight, and now i'll join. If you can give out i can give out...

HAHA! What?! What arguments have i started other then this one (which wasnt ment to be an argument, but you little pansy's took it the wrong way). I like the raptor, i dont bash it. You guys need to calm down a notch here, its the internet for crying out loud! There is no need to cry about stupid things. There is about 300 ppl saying the raptor is this and that, now there are only a few riders on ds650's that talk up the ds, now i'm just here to let you all know that the ds is a great machine, and tell you what i think of it. you talk about the raptor, so i talk about the ds... I'm not here to start any fights, just this one because the people on here (this forum convorsation), are just crybabies, and you should face it. Just ride your bike and dont cry so much, and whne i said that "stage 5" comment it was a joke, i think you guys should just calm down. I dont nor mally talk like this, but face it guys, your acting like little kids...The comment i was should have been taken in an adult manner, and not blown all this way out of proportion!
