I own a 2004 Yamaha bruin 350 4 x 4, and I want to put Dirt Devil tires on it. I would really like to put 26 inchers on it, but I am not sure if there will be a big power loss or not. Does anyone here know how big of a power loss I would get if I put 26 inch tires on instead of 25 inch tires. Would the bigger tires also affect the handling at all. If there is a power loss would a big gun exhaust, K&N filter, and a jet kit get the power back.

you should be fine and if not you put them mods on you will prob. get more power than you had

go for it i'm going to when mine wear out

 

I would stick with 25's on it since the bruin doesn't have low range.

 

but if he does the mods he will be fine

my friend has one with 25 mud lites on it and it never bogs down so i think you'll do fine tell us what you get

 

Well I wont be getting them for a while, I still need to get the 250 bucks. I was going to talk to the Yamaha dealer to see what he thought about the 26 inchers.
