Has anyone ever hooked one of these up? I just ordered one today for my trip to Kermit and I wanted to know how hard it was....I am not sure if it has a plug or if you have to splice wires.

its pretty easy

you have to install a magnet on the front hub (either a rotor bolt gets swapped or you glue a magnet on)

then its just a matter of routing and securing the wire to the quad

i would recommend a billet dashboard to hold the computer as well

be sure that the nuts are tight that hold the sensor to the mounting plate on the quad if you dont u have to find or in my case make new nuts to hold them together it sucked... I put lock tight on it this time. The computer itself runs on its own "watch" battery and says it will stay functional for about a year and a half... so there is no splicing or anything and yes go for the billet dashboard!!!! looks sweet and is a lot better than mounting it on the bars...

Thanks for the info guys....Makes me feel alot better....I wanted to be able to use it when I went on my trip but I was worried that I would not be able to hook it up and we will be waiting on ups to run that day before we leave....Cut that order close.

be sure to calibrate the computer to the size of your tires
