Banshee Blew up now need some help
#1
Ok my banshee blew up. The piston rod Broke down by the crank. Now i mite need a new crank also if so i was looking around i found a true welded crank can you explain what that means. Then i found a 4mm stroker crank whats that mean. I wanna make my banshee faster if i need a crank im totally re doing the banshee from ground up so thats why im asking whats that mean. And what does different domes mean and if i run a stroker can i run it on stock heads or no?

a 4mm stroked crank will give more stroke to the engine stroke (up & down). a stock head can be used if it is machined properly. To get the most potential out of the stroker crank, you must do everything else! Port,carbs,etc...

true and welded crank, a banshee crank is stock 2 pieces the crank can be welded together and then checked to make sure it is straight and "true", a stroker crank is a crank that will let the piston travel higher up the cylinder, a 4mm has 4mm more travel than a stock crank, when you install the stroker crank you really need to go all out to make it reliable, better rods, port and polish, head work, higher octane fuel, advanced timing, lightened flywheel, ect.
