Why do that when they already have a 650 single water pumper in a dirt bike? I think they would just make a few design changes and put it into a 400ex like frame. I dont see any twin cyclinder dirt bikes, why would it be better?

Hey brainchild, have you seen the weight of that new 650 water cooled bike? It weighs as much as some small quads, (305 dry weight) a 300 pound dirt-bike! The quad version would probably be 500 pounds,,,,so keep dreaming!

The Cali. guys still dont have raptors!

Do you think a V Twin would be any lighter? I don't, unless it was machined from unobtainium or something.

Not to mention the fact that Honda has already introduced its latest and greatest High Performance sport quad, the 250 ex. Why would they need anything better??? Honda is content to let the other guys be faster...

RoostKing...

Damn Roostking...you really took this release of the 250EX personal didn't you?? Seems like all your latest posts have to mention Honda's "Latest and greatest new high performance quad". No Roostking it's not the greatest fastest high performance quad...it's a BEGINNERS sport quad. I'm sure Honda thought it would be better and faster than the 400EX, and I'm sure they'll market it as such. Get over it.

The new XR according to Dirt Bike breaks the 300 mark, thats what the mag. says, but I forgot your a Honda engineer so you would know more than everybody else, pull your panties out your rear and calm down, I was only commenting on whata magazine says, I dont own that big piece of crap to weigh it myself.
