hello i'm a newbie to the atv scene. i need some help picking some tires. i just bought a 05 blaster a few months ago.
which tires to go with and which sites offer the best price.
i need an all purpose tire, a mix of dirt/sand/mud. also does anyone have skid plates mounted with pics that could share with me. i'm thinking of fabricating my own and pics would be helpful.

Where do you live?

East Coast: Holeshot HDs
Desert/hardpack: Holeshot XCRs
Razrs 2 work really well too IMO

 

Maxxiz Razr's mounted on .160 Douglas rims make for an effective and cheap upgrade.
Im running 20-11-8's on 8x8 rims on my Blaster.
Rocky Mountain ATV is a cheaper and reliable resource.

I like the ITP holeshot 19 inch rears. I also like the razors.

 

I love my YFZ stock wheels and tires i got off ebay. The only thing is, you have to purchase a set of banshee, raptor, yfz, or warrior rear hubs for the tires and wheels to fit. But definatly the best upgrade i have done so far.

 

i live on the east coast, in north east NC. i have heard a lot about holeshots. any specific type? i am only looking to buy tires and not a rim/tire combo.
i am not a hardcore rider and this will probably be the only mod i spend for my atv. so i'm not looking to drop a lot of cash. i'm more into cars and have a list of things i need for my 03 volkswagen gti.
can anybody offer any other websites that offers good prices on tires.

Get the XCR's they wear longer and are lighter

 

my ITP holeshots are prtty good but im gona get a different tire next time.
