Default Blaster bogs

I just rebuilt my 99 blaster and it runs like sh**. It bogs down from idle to about half throttle. If i keap it at a higher rpm it runs ok.i had the jug bored .10 over,new piston ,rings,boysen power reeds,jetted,k&n airfilter and DG full exaust and i have a 220 main and 2 turns out on the mixter screw.Any help out there for me?

i actualy checked the reads a couple of times i think i have them right.But when i replaced my main jet i didnt replace my pilot would that make a difrence?

Yes, go up on the piolit and raise the needle a clip.

i have my needle on the 3rd clip from the top is that good and what size pilot do you think i should get.

you need to break it in for a good 2hrs at least, its gonna run like crapola untill the rings are seated, give it some time, and DONT give it more then Quater throttle or you could risk damageing the cylinder.

220? Tell me why your main is lower then stock? You need to determine if it's boging because it's lean or rich. Sometimes it's hard to tell. You shouldn't need to change your pilot from the stock setting for the mods you have.

How is it acting? Just bogging out all the time in low RPM's, does it idle fine?

i think it is running rich thing thing gotme heated cant get it to run normal it like has no bottom end what do you guys think i should do my jetting full dg exhaust, k & n air filter,moose jet kit, razar's in the back stock gearing. i got boysen power reeds to but they dont lay flat do you think that is a problem i tried turning them and everything but they still rise up a little bit it came with the little rev plates should i use these plates or the stock reed stops? do you think it could of messed something up in the bottom end? i have took the carb and reeds out atleast 100 times iam tryin hard to figure this out thanks.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]
