Well i have road both and the raptor is a better handling atv and alot more power that the blaster. and the motor in the raptor is the same as a warrior with a diffent carb. and everyone know how tuff that motor is. and there not to hard on the pocket book to hop up. pipe it and jet it and you will eat a stock 400ex up.

 

deffinatly the raptor 350. The thing is bulletproof and wil deffinatly beat a blaster stock for stock.

 

i think blaster just react better to mods then the raptor 350....but thats just my opinion. I know throwing a pipe on any 2 stroke wakes it up like crazy.

 

Put it this way, the Blasters engine looks like it belongs on a pocket bike rather then in a quad.

blasters can be made fast, and handle well, and race good for alot less money then any other bike...

Blaster can be made fast, yes, just like any other bike, but the raptor 350 is a better platform, and you blaster riders have to admit that the stock suspenion is pathetic/brakes are pathetic.

 

Well Imma go with the Blaster. I love the 350 much better body, and layout but the blaster is sick if you like to have fun racing performance. For example right before winter in lke September My Cousin (Yamaha Warrior 350) challenged me (Yamaha Blaster 200) to a race both are 01 I belive. I beat him by about 1 1/2 quad lenghts I belive we both had the same mods I had pipe (fatty) he had pipe (IDK if fatty but it was FMF), Jetted carbs, reeds Yea i beat him. He was pretty upset and wants to get a 660 raptor now. Go with the Blaster. Raptor is over rated.

 

Still the Raptor 350 is faster than the Blaster... The blaster is great but the rappy is better. AS i told you I raced my stock raptor 350 vs a moded blaster and they really dont respond that well to mods, or maybe cuz it was too old lol. The rappy will jump up with a touch of the gas. Get the Raptor 350 and you wont regret it
