ok there is like a small poping noise at times when i rev my motor and stay at one specific rpm range. It really doesnt happen every time but its like sometimes when i let off after doin that. It is not loud or sharp pitch noise i was just wonderin if that happened to anybody else with an aftermarket exhaust. I could hardly notice it but i could hear it more in my garage when i did this.

 

Well i was having kinda the same problem.It was a small popping/clicking noise,it did when i let off the throttle and gave it abit of gas kinda quick.It was coming from the right side,near the clutch.But theres nothing wrong at all with my clutch or tranny,so i just deal with it.I only hear the noise ever so often.So i guess its just the natural noise of the bike.

 

ok but it kinnda sounds like its commin out of the pipe like its mabye i runin off to hi of gas . I think it could be cause im runnin it on super

 

you need to turn out the air screw on the carb. I think the ket kit instructions say to turn it out 3 turns, you can try half a turn more and that should get rid of it. If not, you will need a bigger pilot jet and go with 2-2.5 turns out

 

Just sounds like your jetting is way off.

 

well im gettin the pro design intake with the outerwear so im gonna be rejettin it anyway soon like a week
