Raptor Help

I was installing a skid plate on my 04 Raptor today and to do so had it in the air resting on the rear grab bar.
I know that the carbs probably flodded while doing this but after starting it and running it for some time it still bogs down and dies when you get on it. It also has an irradic idle. Any Suggestions?

check your air filter
probably soaked with fuel,,,,causing you to run rich
be sure to shut off the fuel when you tip er up
maybe even drain the bowls if you dont want it running all over the place

Ok, first check if your parking brake is off.(you never know) second I don't think his filter would be soaked because if he raised the rear that would require the gas to flow uphill to get to the filter. Check that anyways. Maybe try messing around with the idle screw a little bit. Sometimes that helps me when the temp changes and stuff. Also check if your tank is filled. Other than that I really can't think of anything, run it with the fuel shut off until it runs dry, and open it and try then, maybe you have too much fuel somewhere and you just have to burn it up. I am no engine analysist but thats what I would do first, if it wouldnt work.

Last time I checked a raptor had a rear skid plate that you would take off easiest by lifting the rear up..
Why would you stand it up on the grab bar to change skids, its like 8 bolts straight under the frame.
WTF , no shi$ he didnt stand it up on his bumper..
I thought he ment he had it in the air on a hook or stand "resting" on the grab bar, as in holding it up by that....
