Snow conversion kit for the Banshee

SCI...Sno Conversions Inc. out of Bakersfield, California. I agree, its quite costly! I sent them an e-mail because I was considering a kit for my Warrior, and well, right now they are around 2,500$! They said they will be dropping prices, but only to around 2 grand! To me this is a rip-off! I dont think I would pay all that just for some rubber tracks and ski's.

It handles better, turns sharper, doesnt get stuck as easy, actually jumps, nice suspension. I would love it on my Warrior...electric start, cool looks, more power than my lil 250 snowmobile I have now, actually has suspension! It would be great. The only bad think is..you actually lose some top speed, I think the guy told me 5% of your top speed will be lost, but it'd still be great! See, for a 15 year old kid with no job, its kinda hard to come up with 2 grand!

The guy claimed it handles better, turns better, climbs hills better, and negotiates deeper powder better than a real snowmobile. And 2 grand is a lot cheaper than a nice new snowmobile. So get one and let us know what its like, when I have 2 grand I will have one too!

Well, I have about 8 to 10 inches of snow outside right now (Cheyenne, WY) if you can believe that!!! I have been riding the Warrior and Banshee all day in the stuff and it is fun. One thing though, you think that sand drags down a quad; snow is really tough. Why do you think snowmobiles have so much power, you need it in the snow.
I don't think a Banshee would make a very good snow machine with the snowtrax conversion. It is so easy to fall out of the powerband between shifts. Once again, that's why snowmobiles have auto trannies. I wouldn't waste my money on one of those.
