Default 660 RAPTOR SMOKE

hey i just purchased a 02 raptor from a guy everything seemed to check out well when i rode it but it has a slight smoking problem on cold start like it is running rich it goes away after it warms up for the most part i dont know if he put fuel stablizer in it gas smells a little old
any helpful suggestions would be great

ps the raptor runs strong its hard to keep the wheels down on take off

Default 660 RAPTOR SMOKE

When i rode my cousins raptor, i started it up and it smoked a little but stopped after it warmed up. It hadnt ran for a while.

seems normal as long as it goes away when it gets warm

if it smoke only on start up, no big deal, run a compression check, you prob needs to re-ring the sob, even though when i installed my new hi compy piston i still get a small aboutn of smoke at cold start up. smoke it from oil on top of your piston. and/or check you valve clearances.
