with a stroker motor on a banshee will that effect reliability???

Its going to be less reliable than stock if that's what you mean.

 

yeah it wouldnt be as reliable as stock but for the power its worth it

 

Depends on how much or how little you like working on an engine. Higher performance means more maintenance and a shorter life cycle on just about everything. It would be much faster than a stock or piped banshee and unless the compression is to the moon it should hold together for a decent amount of time. Provided it was well built.

Its a nice bike and still appears very rideable.

 

ok well when u go to rebuild something like that in say a tearor two.....? what would u need to replace? just normal pistons gaskets.... idk and working on a motor isnt hard for me at all my dad builds motorcycles and hes amazing at engine building tought me alot

 

stroking a motor will usually increase reliability

 

well my dad told me that they increase the length on the (i dont remember exactly ) in the motor so it should effect reliability

 

the length of the stroke is increased,,,which allows the motor to reach higher output at lower RPM's usually resulting in less wear and tear

Alot of stroker motors also run long rod set-ups. Having a longrod decreases the rod angle when the piston is at TDC, also causing less wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls. Built right they can be very reliable, but are still going to require maintance if you want to keep it running top notch.
