Raptor tether cord

Hey guys i just bought a raptor and I got a tether cord for it. I tried to wire it in the way the package said and it didnt work? any ideas on how it is sopose to be wired? can anyone help me out? thanks guys..

Raptor tether cord

do a search

one wire ties into the coil
the other goes to a ground (the frame)
when the clip pops,,,it grounds the system
