My Modified Raptor!!!
#1
Thought I'd share what I did with my modified black/white Raptor. First off I wanted to add yellow into the black/white/silver Raptor because its decals have yellow lettering and thought it would add a nice touch. So first thing I did was remove all four hubs and paint them yellow. Next I bought yellow shockwears. New Black/silver Renthal handlebars and pad. Silver Renthal grips with yellow Galindo bar ends. Looks tight! Also I removed the worthless parking brake and got a new perch and backoff plate. Right now currently on backorder:
White Brothers R series pipe with header
K&N filter and jet kit
AC racing yellow nerfs
AC racing skids.
Atleast thats all for now so far I'm actually satisfied with stock suspension and that's a first! Probably next year I'll get them. E-mail us your Raptor mods.

They have a K&N filter out for the Raptor, where did you order yours from? That’s the one disappointment with Yamaha, why did they keep that 1980’s design air filter setup? I want a K&N with an outerwear before I take my Raptor to the dunes. Also what size/model shockwears fit the Raptor? Thanks.

yea, I wasn't in a big hurry. By the way Dreamduner, I finally got my raptor out for an hour or so this evening. Very impressive. Only saw the first 3 gears, but it was quite an experience. At first I kind of felt that 1st and second were way to far apart, but I started riding it like a 2 stroke and it works just fine. Interesting. Have to check it out when I get some more elbow room. By the way, your pics look great. Is that out by sugarloaf mtn? Haven't been out there since I was a young'n. Thinking about heading out there on friday (have it off). Happy trails!

Yes it is, I call it Sycamore Creek, great place to ride. You can really open her up down in the river bottom, I got into 4th for about 10 seconds I'm holding off on any gear changes just yet until I try running some dunes. I'll have a 12 tooth front gear with me, just got it today along with a new set of dune tires.
