any one got any tips on how to get iron ore of my fenders

oh wee...another person from gwinn...what kind of fourwheeler ya got? My buddies blaster is white and has a lot of dust on it too...its sorta of liked stained in there...we havn't really tried to get it off yet. If we find anything good that works, we'll be sure to let ya know

It can be a real pain geting it off. Ive tried coating things with wd 40, before riding, like someone suggested, but that doesnt work.It does keep the dust from rusting, though. Are you just using a sponge and water, or have you tried a brush too? The mechanical action of brushing seems to get more, but the stuff still stains everything.
I still have stained plastic from 2 years ago, from riding in gilbert,mn. It really sucks on a yellow quad.

Hmmmm, you might try washing it with a cleaning product called CLR.........

Gwinn, be careful with CLR, it may discolour plastic. A deoxidizing wax may help.

However I haven't tried them. We buy machines in darker colors that we feel hide the iron best.. My son uses Mudslinger and it seems to do the trick..Not sure if he prewashed his machines first.
