OK GUYS. No more arguing and whining about 450 sucks.... banshee sucks.... Tomorrow night, I will post a message. But tomorrow I am going riding with my buddy who owns a 450. So yah.... DRAG! My banshee has t5's, coolheads, k&n filter, just jetted this week, new plugs, reeds, and some other stuff not worth mentioning. His 450 is ALL STOCK except for a $800 PIPE!!! yah, we both weigh the same. so it will BE A FAIR RACE!wish me luck, cause i have a feeling i am gonna get my butt handed to me on a platter.

Well guys... we must have raced 15 times. For the short races(400 ft), the 450 usually beat me by about 1 length. For the longer races(700-1000ft), it was actually pretty dang close. However I did beat him. We were on a hard, dirt/gravel road. It was cool. Then we got this other guy on a stock honda 450.... HAHAHAHJAHAHA. I dont know if the guy was trying, but he lost EVERY time by AT LEAST 20-60 ft. But yah, overall, the Banshee won in most all the long races, however not by much... The 450 won in most all the short races.... but even then it was close. I gotta hand it to the 450. I hate to say this, but i would trade my shee in any day of the week if i could get a good deal on a 450. OH YAH, and the 450 kicks my butt climbing hills too. haha

So would you say that what everyone else says is pretty much true? The 450 has better bottom end and the shee holds it's own when she starts stretching her legs? This has been my experience since I bought my YFZ.
I too thought that there was no way a four stroke could hang with a shee. Having owned a shee for several years I was a nay sayer myself. After owning a YFZ my eyes have opened up a little. Still can't deny the overall hit of the shee.....I'll always have a place in my heart for that bike.
