Whenever Im going up a big dune, in 2nd or 3rd, it sometimes feels like I hit neutral and the engine just revs and hits the limiter. Going WOT in 5th also causes that . I have to let off the gas and then it catches back. . So how do you like the GYTR?
Yeah the stocker just blew out, didnt catch it right away. I've got a piston, cam and pipe. I also used the GYTR and it is holding up great right now. It doesnt seem to be any harder to pull the clutch lever and it hooks up pretty well. I would guess when your clutch was slipping it needed to be replaced, the springs help keep the clutch from slipping but they are better at preventing clutch wear than fixing it. It sounds like your clutch is slipping pretty heavily, you should feel a great return of power once you get the new GYTR in the bike.

Sorry I missed the post, not sure how I did that.

No worries. Are you still using the stock clutch lever? Im thinking about putting those EBC springs in the 05 SE, I noticed a good gain when I put those on. Im not sure if its because the clutch was bad or if they really do put down more hp to the wheels. I guess it cant hurt to try Thanks for the help!

I think that would be a worthwhile endeavour, stiffer clutch springs are good to have in just about any atv. It will make the clutch last longer and put the power to the ground better.

I'm using a clutch lever I bought from Magic Racing, not sure what brand or type. I just purchased the whole perch and lever and threw it on my bike after I broke two other aftermarket ones. The SRP or Wirtz model perhaps? Not the best by any means, but it was what was availible to me at the time and its working fine so I'm in no rush to replace it. I will get something a little stronger next time around though.
