Well since the blaster got stolen my dad said that he would buy me any quad of my choice for under $7,000. I have many choices so i was hoping you guys could help me narrow them down a little. I will be riding on grass, open fields, a little mud (like 5 inches at the most), dirt trails, roads/pavement, loose gravel, but mostly trails. ok so here are my choices:

-2005 450R
-2005 400ex
-2005 Banshee
-2005 Z/DVX/KFX-400
-2005 Raptor 660R
-2005 Predator TLD or Regular(not sure)

i know theres a lot but i was hoping you guys could help me narrow the list down a little.

If your just mainly trailrideing I would go with the Raptor 660.. I have one and I ride with 450r's, 400ex's and a kfx 400 which are all set up for raceing and blow on the trails im usually ahead.. Ive gone thru some deep mud with the raptor and didnt get stuck.. Polaris shouldnt even make sport quads so id just take that off your list lol thats my opinion..

 

Yeah and if i do get the rappy we could go riding sometime lol Im between Rome and Utica. Marcy to be exact. Any other opinions?

 

what if u get like a wolvy and just mod the **** outta it... u know the works.. FST446 kit and ****..

 

Wolvy mad good choice... I modded myne out alot and Im planning on getting an 366cc kit or maybe a 446 fst. But I would get the banshee and pipe it, outa ur choices u put up

 

Because i dont want a wolvy. I want a fully sport quad. Hence the ones on the list lol

 

The 450R or KFX400 no doubt..But I really really like the 450's so that may be baised..

 

The banshee with pipes would blow away any one of those quads.

 

yeah but would the shee be good at slow paced trail riding and slow hill climbing? Thats why i was thinking more towards a 4 stroke.

 

Raptor fits your riding requirements perfectly. The predator is a great trail choice too but the Raptor has more possibilities.
