parking brake on yamaha banshees

does anybody elses parking brake on their banshee like freakin completely suck and isnt worth the weight that it adds to the bike? Also, did anyone remove their parking brake? Or is that not recomended?

Most people remove it. Get a block off plate and disconnect the wiring.

mine worked until the beginning of this year tried adjusting it but no use im gonna try it 1 more time if not screw it

dude, how often do you use it? honestly... i just took mine off today. when i have it on the trailer, it is strapped, so yah. i would just take it off. a chrome block off plate costed me 10 bucks on ebay.

i use it frequently it is always nice to have on trails so it dont drift back or anything when you stop for a minute
