Can someone tell me where they ordered their 12 tooth sprocket for a Raptor. A part number and cost would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

 

I ordered mine through a local bike shop. Just order one for 98'-00' YZ250 ( fine spline pattern ) it fits without any problem. It cost $15.

 

Donelson's cycle in St.Ann mo. will have it in stock, sprocket specialist part#504-12. It takes a 32mm socket to remove it. [a 1 1/4" socket will also work] Where do you ride at around Troy? Do you ever race? There is a MO. Harescrambles race this coming sunday in Festus, just a few miles from the intersection of hyw 55& hyw.67.

I own 4 acres with about 1/2 of it being woods so I play around home almost daily. I've been Hawk Point a few times but it is very crowded on weekends. We like to go to a place in Fulton. I can't remember the name but it's something like Camp Potawanna. It's a privately owned campground and only cost 3 bucks ride. They have a decent mx track, lime hills, and some fairly rugged wooded trails.

 

I've heard of that place, some of the club members go there. Do you ever Race? I race in the mo. harescrambles series. They are a lot of fun, and I enjoy the people in the series. We are having a race this sunday (9-01) in Festus. It's a real nice course a little of everything, but nothing to hard for even a beginner. Plus it's not that far from home. If you aren't doing anything come on down.

 

I've never raced but I have a buddy with a CR250 that races at Hawk Point and he's trying to talk me into racing. I want to get used to the bike a little better before I make that decision. My back isn't in the best shape so hitting jumps too hard results in me spending more time at the chiropactor than I care to.

I'm not sure what my schedule is for this weekend but I might try to make it down there to spectate. Oh yea, my wife is taking an ATV saftey training course this Saturday on the Raptor! Can you imagine the look on everyone's face when a girl shows up with the hottest bike out there? That ought to be worth a few laughs.

 

Is she going to take the course at pro dirt in wentzville. If she does tell Tom the instructor I said hi. He belongs to Mo.dirt riders the club that I belong too, and so does the owner of pro-dirt. He races in the harescrambles series and works at the atv gnc races. I raced up at Hawk Point last year at the fist atv races they had. Wasn't ready for that, liked to wore out this old guy!It's a really cool track for atv's, just wasn't ready for the intensity of it. Way more than a harescrambles. Hope you can make it down to Festus sunday, I think you might like it.

 

Yes she is going to Pro Dirt. I was just up there this evening ordering a 12 tooth sprocket for my Raptor. I was riding in my woods and I think it will help with the low end.
