Default Best pipe for YFZ450..........

New to the game so I'm wondering what the best pipe for my 450 will be. When I say best I mean most horsepower. And should I go with a slip on or full system? Thanks

Will

Their is really no best pipe, it all matters what type of riding becuase different pipes have different areas in power. If you trail ride, HMF full exhaust is an excellent option.

Ok well a buddy on mine keeps telling me that the yoshi full system is the best one for me. And thats what I'm going buy. I'll be doing a lot of trail riding, drag racing, and some duning. So what are my options HMF, Dr. D, Yosh? And is it worth it to get the full systems?

I would definitely get a full system
Ive seen a lot of fast YFZ's with the HMF
I do like the yoshi but you dont see a ton of yoshis on those bikes with a lot of horsepower
The yoshi however makes a lot of power and is pretty quiet while doing so
My buddy just ordered a Sparks pipe today and i cant wait to ride it with that thing on there

I have a yfz450 aslo, and i plan on putting a duncan fat boy 4 or Curtis Sparks makes a good system. Both seems to push good power and the Sparks system sounds mean as hell.

I got a red HMF for my 450 for $220. I like what it has done for it and that is one of the better prices i have seen. Looks great and performs awsome.

Unless you ride on your own private land i suggest you get a quiet pipe. ATVs don't need even more of a bad image...and DR.D is a quiet pipe with good gains
