As for the banshee the powerband is towards the end and

the raptor is constant from the begining, the middle and the end.

How about YFZ450

Ive never ridden either but, the power band on a two stroke is awesome and I doubt a 4 stroke could even come close...........

I would beg to differ. My 450 pulls strong through all the gears and it's stock. My buddy has a modded shee and he says mine pulls harder down low. But his pulls harder up top.

As you say, the 450 curve is much smoother and has a lot more bottom end than the banshee. The banshee has that incredible hit in midrange that just climbs forever. I think thats what he meant about the powerband being unattainable by a 4 stroke. IMO the banshee is harder to ride because of this, but much more fun in a drag race.

Welcome to the forums Will.

The 450 definately pulls harder down low. As for mid and top, it will depend on how the Shee is set up. A piped Shee will likely have a much harder hit than the YFZ. Make no mistake though, the 450 has a very distinct hit to it. Because it makes so much more down low though, the hit isn't as severe.

If you want cheap power from the 450 do the cam mod,(info on forums). awesome change and really steps up the power through out whole range. No parts required just a little time.
