Default oil cooler

i am looking for an oem or aftermarket oil cooler for a 96 wolverine. my dealer wants 300.00 bucks that just seems like to much. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

Yeah I saw that a replacement resiviour for oil on my rap was somewhere around that much too from the dealer, I cant understand that. It's a 50-75 dollar assembly at most. I'd check east coast atv or some other salvage yards and of course ebay.

Just buy a replacement tranny cooler and use that, i have a permacool #1007, its meant for a power steering cooler, but permacool sells the same thing, #1008, as the atv oil cooler but its 20 bucks more.

my frist thought was after market cooler just trying to figure how tuff it will be to hook up?

really easy, they sell the fittings you need so just buy the fittings at any parts store and hook it up to the lines.

Try ebay, if a stock Wolverine cooler isn't available, a Big Bear or Kodiak cooler will work, they are a little bigger, so you will have to fab a mounting bracket, but the bottom fittings will bolt right up to your hoses and look like factory. And they will be a lot cheaper than a new one.
