Hello new to the quad experience, I just purchased a 04 Grizzly w/150 miles on it. I don't know much about these machines but just how hard is it to start w/o a key? A buddy of mine had his stolen from inside his garage but he did leave the key in it. And then I wake up this past wknd. to find someone had been nosing around all the windows of the garages I have, it is starting to worry me. I did move my two most loyal buddies into the garage that my toys are in let them try now they might have a nice surprise but what about starting a machine w/o a key? Thanks much for good info.

 

I have had to start my dads polaris with out a key before. You gotta pull out the ignition and take it apart. In side there is like these little copper plates that touch when you turn the key. All you gotta do is make the connection and start it up. My blaster only requires you to unplug the key switch and use the button on the handle bars to shut it off.
