Default Hi comp piston

Anyone running a 12:1 piston in a warrior/Rappy 350? Im looking for a boost in hp and i was thinking that going with 12:1 compression would do it.

Default Hi comp piston

It should help you,but if you've never tore into a four stoke,I'd get someone with experience to do it.My brother and I put a piston into my 660 raptor I had,and I hope I never have to do it again. We tore my Banshee engine totally apart and put it back together with no problems.4 strokes are more complicated.Have you already tried a pipe and a K&N filter?I would try that first.

Default Hi comp piston

Yeah i got all the external motor mods done. Ive rebuilt a few banshess in my day, i will agreee with you they are REAL easy to do, im mechanically inclined so im sure i'll be fine, i was just wondering if anyone ran a 12:1 in theire motor and if they saw a decent gain with it, thanks for the reply.

Default Hi comp piston

VelociRaptor350-I have a fully built 690 raptor that i had a 11:1 piston in that now has a 12.5:1 and with just the change in compression i could tell a difference in performance.Wether you have a 690 or a 350 the higher compression will make a difference for you.I would keep in mind that with any compression over 11:1 you will need to run higher octane fuel(110)or so and that can get costly. If you are going to have your motor apart you should consider increasing your bore size at that time because doing that along with increasing your compression would make your 350 considerably faster.
