i think you can rule out the banshee. i say raptor then 450R.i really like the YFZ but i dont know if its right for you. raptor would work good besides jumping

I dk if a 450r has reverse or not? But how it goes.. Raptor for trails.. YFZ 450 for MX, track and some trails.. Banshee for wicked speed and some jumps..

If you are serious about maybe racing then 450r or YFZ because they are more for Racing. Raptor has reverse which is the #1 in trail quads.. IMO Raptor is awesome for trails. I use reverse a lot.. backing into the garage.. ect.. its just so convienient. if the 450 r has reverse then thats your comparison!

Go with the raptor. If you buy the 450r, and get in a situation on the trail where you have to get off and turn in around manually, then get back on and kickstart it, your going to be wishing you had the reverse. Once had to turn around a 400ex pointed down...pull it uphill to turn around..not fun..reverse is king on the trails

I ride my 450r on the trails all the time. I really don't mind the lack of reverse and electric start. It is a good trail quad. Gear it down one tooth on the front for trails.
The 450r wheelies just as easily as the 400ex, I know, I have them both. Great balance point for long wheelies.

no the 450r dosent have reverse and in dirt wheels they did a big gun 450r and just about every picture of it taking off it was wheeling they said it was hard to modify becuz it wheelies so much i usta ride trails alot and i barely ever used reversed

The 450r does not wheelie too much like Dirt Wheels says. I can keep the wheels on the ground when I want to. It is not a hard quad to modify, I have already modified mine. It is a very good all around quad.

I ride 85% trails and the rest mx. Reverse is nice, but you can easily live without it. All you need is a little hill to drive up and then roll back down. Or just spin turn. Snow and deep mud are the only situations I feel reverse would be more of a must. I have a YFZ, and love every minute of it. Any of these quads will work for you, but if your buddies ride 450's, that's what I would buy also. If they don't ride 450's, look closely at the Raptor.
