I'm probably going to be getting into a sparks here pretty soon. What I need to know is spark arrestor options.

There is the open end type with a screen arrestor insert or a complete disc type encap and arrestor. Both cost the same and Sparks says hp loss is the same. So my question is, which is better?

I want something quieter if I'm not going to sacrafice serious hp, so if either of these is quieter I'll go with that. I'm not opposed to the look of a supertrapp end, it worked great on my CT. Also how does the end cap attach? Is it riveted on or is it something else? Thanks.
