could you put a grizz intake on a raptor to make it where you can use one carb?

 

Do you want the grizz intake or the whole grizz carb setup? You already can use aftermarket intakes from edelbrock for a single setup. I dont know if the head is the same, I believe it is just with a different cam. So if the head has the same intake holes in the outside of the head, I dont see why not.

 

yea i was gonna try to go with the whole grizzly carb set up the mechanic at little sahara was telling me about it and i thought i would mention it on here

 

Its a 42mm, which seems awfully small for an internally modified raptor. I would think you would end up losing power, but I've never seen anyone try it so I couldnt say.

 

The ports are different. They are opposite from the raptor head. Several people have asked about it in the past. I have not personally looked into it but was given some info bu other that went with a single setup.

 

I bought a NICHE 660cc Big Bore 9.1:1 Compression Cylinder Kit for 2001-2008 Yamaha Grizzly 660 Rhino 660 Raptor 660R and said it would fit my 02 raptor but it’s for a grizzly 660 intake manifold can I do anything to make it fit my raptor dual carb
