Default Another chain post!

Ok guys, its time for a new chain and wanted to know what you recommend. Ive been reading previous posts and a lot of people mention that their x-ring chains stretch a lot, so Im kinda discouraged by that. I ride mostly desert and dusty trails, hardly any sand at all. I want something strong that will last another 2-3 years like the stock one has. Im gonna be running 14/39 gearing as well, so let me know what you guys think!

Edit: Im looking at the DID 520ERT and DID 520ATV (x-ring). Is the ERT a non-o ring?

Help me out guys!

So how do you like the x-ring? Does it have to be set a bit looser than the original one? I'm still undecided on what chain to buy, but so far the x-ring looks to be the strongest, but that whole stretching thing worries me.

After the first ride I went on I adjusted it once but it was not to the point where it was real loose. I havent touched it since and I check it every time before each ride.

I had problems with my DID x-ring chain. On a tight budget I replaced it with a Parts Unlimited version of the x-ring, I have had good luck with this chain and it was one of the lowest cost chains I was looking at.

Well, I got the x-ring, hopefully all will go well. It was $68 at chaparral, so for that kind of money it better be as good as they say it is. Also got a JT 39T sprocket.

How tight/loose do you keep the chain RaptorOwner?
