My friend has a 04 z400 with a full bill balance pipe, Pro-flow intake, Powernow vavle, and both intake and exhaust HotCams. my raptor right now only has the pipe and filter. We raced and he got a little jump off the line and it took the entire length of the race for me to catch him. I cant believe how fast that 400 is. Very ncie and suprising. His dyno showed him peaking at 40hp. Anyone one with a 400 i highly recommend getting cams.

 

yep cams realy wake up them 4 strokes , if were you ied look into getting one

 

I had a stage one Hotcam in, and took it out in prep for some motor work this summer. And yes it did a lot for my raptor when it was in.

 

why didnt it go back in ?

 

It was a stage one, im selling it and getting a more agressive stage with a piston come summer.

Tell your friend he would probably be faster in a drag with that power now thingy out depending on how much obstruction it causes in the carb.
