Regular vs Premium with stock engines.

Is using premium gas any better than regular (87) when your engine specs say you can run premium or regular? I know some larger 4x4 ATVs want you to only run regular while others give you a choice. Lets say your running a stock wolverine/warrior 350 and it runs fine on 87 and 93.... is the extra cost of 93 giving you anything in the long term?

i Ran my quad on premium (92) for the first month, then i got cheep and went to 89 and i noticed it idled smoother and started easier. Then i went to 87 and noticed a little more pep from the engine, expecially top end. Now i stick to 87 and my engine runs smoother anc cooler. some Rap. 350 guys have overheating problems, and when they go to 87 they go away.

If i was you i would stick with the regular. The gas prices around here are absolutly crazy like 2.10 for a gallon of gas It sucks. I filled up my truck today and it cost me 30 bucks and it only raised it to a 3/4 of a tank.

Ha....My trucks (2 full size chevy's) cost me 70 bucks a pop to fill and when I go to the dunes, the motorhome takes $100 bucks+ 30 gallons of extra fuel for the quads, thats around another 70....My Gas card always seems to be at the 1800 dollar mark every month... Time to buy another horse.

I hear that, my truck has a 38 gallon tank and does well to get 14 miles to the gallon. Don't seem to pass many gas stations.
Anybody have any idea what a 660 Raptor gets for gas mileage? Maybe I should start driving that....
