how much do they cost and where do you get one?? I may be interested in one for my Warrior, but I don't know anything about them, are they worth it, do they offer any performance gain?? thanks in advance!!

I need to make my Warrior faster, I just rebuilt my gf's blaster and now I can't keep up with her in a drag race!! waht else can I do to make my Warrior faster?? I have a cobra exhaust and 20x11x9 razrs, the blaster has a wiesco piston, boyson reeds, mild porting, stock pipe/silencer, and 20x11x8 holeshots. thanks!!

some time ago there was a subject heading that involved the use of stuffers. It may be archived. The biggest con was the increase in head temperatures. New York in the fall/winter ??? Your call. It's just a washer that reduces exhaust opening, I'm not sure as to the ease of removal if you don't like it.

Stuffers give you more low end grunt, not top end!!

exactly as stated by Harold, however if you do a lot of WOT with a stuffer you can expect a greater increase in engine temp

The torque stuffer is available from White Bros. for about $30-35. To install it you unbolt the headpipe from the head and slip it between the two. Usually it is necessary to do a little work (about 5 minutes)on the seam of the headpipe with a diegrinder to get it to seat. The result of using the stuffer is improved torque down low with very little loss on the top. If you try it and don't like it, remove the two headpipe bolts and yank it. I've got one on mine, but I installed it at the same time as the White Bros. E-series, so I didn't get a before and after with just the stuffer.

Unfortunatly I think you will need to go into the engine to make more power. Such as bigger bore, higher compression and better cam. There aren`t any bolt on products to make a Warrior that much better, maybe NOS.

a torque stuffer isnt going to help, call alba yamaha and get their 11--1 piston kit,450 lift cam, valve sprins, ect, also i would do some mild porting, open up the air box,kn filter,i have all this done to mine but i have a 12-1 piston and their pipe kit they dont recomened a stuffer with internal engine mods,my warrior has way more all around power than my freinds stock warrior with a kn filter and a alba pipe kit and will pull away from his in any gear hard, big bore kits are pricey i was going to do a powroll 430 kit if i remember right it would of cost about $1700 i did the mods above for about $700 incluiding the pipe,
96 warrior mods listed above
01 raptor havent riden the warrior since

You know when you put mods in the motor such as high compression piston, cams and valve springs you have to start running race gas.

I notice you run 20" tires instead of the stock 22", and made no mention of a gearing change. Since you've geared down significantly, I wonder whether you have just wound it out too early? You might try a 14 tooth c/s cog to more or less restore initial gearing. I run a 15 T. on mine, but then I don't drag race.
