Alright ALL you Wolverine riders list the good and bad things YOU (not magazines or other people) think about your quads. I'm willing to bet very few of us really dislike our machines when we think about it!

1 The front wheel bearings wear out quickly

2 Doesn't come from the factory with switchable 2WD- 4WD

3 Stock size tires hard to find ( Titan 489's come in stock size ) Choices are limited

4 Switching to bigger tire size robs too much power

5 Stock air filter / air box design sucks

6 The cheap plastic oil cooler protector ( grille ) should be made of steel

7 When riding through a cow pasture, the fenders don't do a good enough job of keeping the splattered cowpies off of you....LOL!

8 Should come from the factory with A-Arm/ CV boot protectors

Other than that the Wolverine is a great machine.

Those are my beefs as well. Otherwise, I love my Wolverine, and wouldn't own anything else...

I forgot to add in my thoughts.

1. Too tall of a first gear(not enough low torque)
2. Bigger tires rob too much power
3. Dim stock head lights
4. Air filter/box poorly designed
5. The cowpie thing!
6. no stock 2wd 4wd selector.

And now the good
1. Light and nimble
2. can keep up or beat most other 4x4s
3. Loves to fly through the air
4. Simple mods get good results
5. Simple engine design= simple repairs.
6. Very low profile tires for a 12" rim(excelent handling)
7. Not hard to lift out of a mud hole or other obstical

Thanks guys.

I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea. I loved that Wolverine. Its a really good ATV. Those few faults I mentioned were my only problems I would like to see changed. I liked the way it handled. The 424 Select is an absolute must for all Wolverine owners. It really wakes up the sporty side of the Wolvy.
