what would win in a drag on the street? Yamaha warrior or yz85 dirt bike? by how much? thx. The warrior has an HMF pipe, jetted, UNI Pro flow kit, dirt bike is stock. riders are around the same weight.

The dirtbike, without a doubt. You can pick that thing up and carry it inside with you. POWER TO WEIGHT

no comparison. The YZ will win, dont let the small displacement fool ya. I did that once, KX100 vs Raptor 660, i though it was a no-brainer, think again. lol

Ditto what the others said. I have a Prairie 700 that has a Four Stroke Tech 800cc big bore, cams, open air box, HMF full exhaust, and lots of clutch tuning work. My 8 year old son has a stock Kawasaki KX 65cc dirt bike. My big bore Prairie 800 will kick a piped raptors butt in a drag race, by my kids KX 65 kicks my butt on the big bore Prairie. Those little mini bikes are scary fast.

Yes, those little buggers are fast...really fast. My old friend used to have a KX80 or 85...with just a pipe and a CDI...smoked my raptor, scary fast

I don't think it would win acutally. My friend has a 1997 YZ80 thats stock that doesnt even come close to touching my Warrior. Heck, my friends Arcticat 400 utility keeps with it until about 4th gear

Dood I think something is wrong with your guys quads!!! I have raced many dirtbikes on my banshee when it was bone stock I raced a kx100, rm80 (i own it), yz80, yz85, crf230, xr 200 and I beat them all by a long shot on variety of surfaces. On the loose stuff they all pretty much got the jump but I would catch up before they got to far ahead. The warrior might be pretty even but the raptor 660 should smoke them.

Depends more on the gearing really. If they were both geared to acheive the same top speed, then the bike hands down .. it will be much quicker. I think it would be close in any event, but like someone else said .. don't let the low displacement fool you .. the yz is a race oriented machine .. the Warrior is a trail machine ..

I have an 01 660 Raptor, and my oldest boy has a 96 Honda CR 250,,,,that thing is scary fast. We are always real close in a drag race on packed dirt,,,usually the one with the best holeshot wins,,,,,by about half a length.
