Yea, the 350 is a really good choice...not to much power but enough power <--thats like a metaphor or something. and yes, i think its a good idea

if she is new to both (quading and clutching) you may want to get her a full auto,,,or an auto-clutch
However if she wants a manual clutch,,,,the 350 would be a good learner

I like my Wolverine too much to give it up for a Raptor 350. And she's the one that wants one not me. She has been riding for a while(bout 12yrs on and off) but has never driven clutch b4. I think that as her skills grow the Raptor can grow as well correct? She wanted to start off with a Raptor 660, which almost happened because I found a great deal on 2 2003 that were driven by a guys 2 sons and they went on the road the second day they had them, so he put them up for sale. He wanted $3000 for both, but wouldn't sell separate. I figured that a 660 would be too much if she were to panic and hit the gas. Thanks for replying!

I bought my wife one as a first quad and she loves it. Makes me a little nervous- she rides it like she's been riding all her life!
It seems to be a super forgiving bike.

I'm a chick and I like my Raptor 350, my first quad was automatic (Polaris) , but I've ridden motorcycles and enjoy a clutch, so I would ride my son's Warrior and knew I defintely wanted a manual, so bought a modified Blaster, and loved it but hated kick start, so son trashed Warrior, sold Blaster and Polaris, and bought him a Raptor 660 and me the 350, and yes 660 is way too much, if she's never ridden a clutch, my son's is way too much for me and I've been riding a long time, but something like a Trailblazer 250 (auto) is a fun quad, hubby has a Scrambler 500 (auto) and I like to get on that and just haul butt sometimes.
