Has anyone any feedback for this aftermarket plastic? I forked out the dough and when i got it, it seems pretty flimsy, especially around where it mounts on the front piece at the back of the front fenders. ALthough they profess a 1 year warrantee, its a Pain in da A$$ to return it.

has anyone done any mods to fix this problem?

There are no fixes for this problem, its the result of the molding process. Its worth the extra money for fullbore or stock plastics to get injection molded pieces. Maier is cheap for a reason. It works and for most people its fine, but if you are a discerning customer its simply inferior.

 

The new shiny stuff is pretty good, but the original Maier plastic sucked. It was dull, rough, didn't fit well......
