Banshee question

Default Banshee question

hey im looking to but a banshee i was wondering how reliable are they b/c im looking for a pretty solid machine also how fast are they stock

1 more question is there anyone that has one thats in gooood shape and wanting to sell it for $ 3000 to $3200 thats all i can aford really all im bearly able to make that


1988 Honda 250x
Big Bore
proformance cam
13:1 compression
ac nerfbars
ac rear bar
34mm Mukuni flat slide
Dirt runner tires
lonestar axle carrier
fly handle bars
Uni air filter
14 tooth more speed front strocket
new sprocket on back

Right on the heals of the 400ex

Default Banshee question

If you want reliable...get a 400ex. The Shee isnt gonna be nice to you, and there is a lot of work involved.
BUT...nothin beats that 2 stroke snap! Speed wise? Id have to say 66-70 stock.

yea banshee's are reliable not sure about used ones depends on how they were rebuilt and all i bought mine new in 2003 and it hasnt gave me any problems

yea you never know how reliable they will be when they are used if it was beat or rebuilt wrong

i think that banshee's are reliable enough. untill you are like me and start modifying them left and right. once you do it once and see the difference you cant stop. i would offer mine that i have up for sale but there is no way you are comming all the way up hear . you can take a look if you like but it is too much of a drive for you. this is were i have it listed.

just a word from me,, i just bought a 1999 banshee that was stored for about 2 yrs,,it runs great and i look forward to haveing a kick @ss summer with it and my kids,,it is totally stock and i just clocked it at 71.6 mph on a gps ,,can't wait to put pipes and a few mods on it then see what it will do,,one problem is finding a nice long straight to open her up on

Yes...... The quest for more power and speed can be quiet addictive when you own a Banshee...
