Exhaust leak on the raptor....
#1
It seems that whenever i start up the raptor when its cold (outside temp is 50 and above) it pours out white smoke, i assume oil burning. It has only happened recently, and a while ago i noticed oil leaking up through a bolt in the head, so i take it i must have a rip in the head gaskit, becuase that bolt is as tight as its going. it leaks slowly from that point, and will have to do so until i take it apart and can change the gaskit. The oil burning out of the exhuast im clueless on, unless maybe my rings are bad and oil is slipping buy and going out my exhaust valves and then burning off in the pipe? maybe?
My exhaust leak is where the muffler connects to the midpipe. its tightened real tight around there, but the white smoke still pours from there also. Is there a clamp i can get that will eliminate this exhuast leak? Thanks--Rider1169

I would fix the gasket leak problem first, then move on to the exhaust. But I thought the connection was supposed to be a bit loose to allow for expansion. Once the bike is running on the top end, it will expand a bit. Atleast the expansion thing should be true for the head pipe to midpipe. I'm not sure for the muffler to midpipe.
