Im thinking about getting a YFZ and I was wondering how much you guys bought yours for from the dealers. Do you have to pay MSRP? Or can you haggle with the price like you can when buying a car? Let me know whats a good price to pay for one.

Thanks in advance

You can always talk them down if you pay with cash. I have bought 3 things from my Yamaha dealer in the past 2 years, My R6, and Blaster I paid cash, I got really great deals. As for my Raptor, I had to pay the $6299 because I financed it. I paid $7200 OTD for my R6, and $2499 for the Blaster.

I am a dealer.......and as much as you would like to think it, cash no longer talks........I would rather eft the money from a finance source than worry with the cash in hand........and I know most dealers.......atleast in my area feel the same.....

yes, in most cases, dealers are more than willing to discount the machines a bit to move them........but I honestly doubt the cash has any bearing on the decision to discount the machine or not......

You are very different from my Dealer then. Cash talks with my dealer. They are easier to get along with when you pay with cash...Im not lieing.
