Default Blaster to Raptor

Ok so i think im going to sell my blaster and buy my friends 01 raptor for $2,800. I am getting to big for the blaster and want something with more power. I heard that all 01 raptors have tranny problems. is this true? Also, how is the raptor on gas? Does it go all day on a full tank? How reliable is the raptor? thanks for the help

Both my boys rode Blasters, one of them still does, and we have an 01 Raptor. Never a tranny problem, very reliable, and my boys jump right on the Raptor and ride it just fine, they are about 85 pounds under 5' tall. They do have experience riding out of the cradle however.

I have a 01 Raptor and it runs fine, my One-Way Starter Bearing did go out though, but my tranny's fine and this thing takes a beating!! with my lil mods it gets about....5-6hrs on a full tank of constantly running, running hard too.

For the record, all Raptor 660R's have week one-way bearings, not just the 01, their all the same.

yes, ALL the 01's have to replace the one way. other than that it's a reliable and great quad to have.
