Default Need quick vavle adjustment help......

Im adjusting the valves on my raptor, and see that the intake vavles have to be set at a clearence of (.10-.15mm or .0039-.0059in) The feeler gauge set i have only goes down to (.011 or like .27mm)---In that i assume the .011 is in inches but it doesnt clarify then to the right of it it has the .27 over "mm". That feeler gauge is seriously the same thickness as a paper. If it is .27mm, and i need to get a gauge for .1mm, that is a HUGE difference, and i find it hard to see how there could acually be a gauge that thin. Like i said, the smalles i have is no larger than a piece of paper. DOes this seem right, or is there a much smaller feeler gauge out there, our could i be reading this wrong and its .11mm.

On the gauge it goes--- ( im using the one up because the smallest is a little warn, and im not sure about the .27)---

.012 0.30 ----- The .012 doesnt have a direct measurment label, so i assume its in inches, and the .30 is the mm measurment.
mm

Any help at ALL is greatly appriciated.

Maybe i was looking at it all wrong and its reading .11mm and then a 27 up in the corner. I think that is what i am doing, going to try it out i guess, because i seriously doubt they make any smaller gauges.

Yea but there is a big difference between something paper thin, and a dime or quarter thin. Or do you mean you dont use any feeler, you just tighten it right down so it barely budges??--Rider1169
