Hey, I did really know it all about 13 years ago when I was 17. It is odd how your level of knowledge decreases with age. I was really smarter then than I am now. I don't understand it. I bet if I was 17 again I would understand it. And know exactly why I am dumber now.
Amen. I just turned 24. I remember how dumb I thought my dad was when I was 17-18. He passed away when I was 20 and I started to realize each day how dumb I was. Each day I realize that I am dumber than I thought I was. I can't stress this enough to the teenagers I know. They get in arguments with their parents and I try to explain to them that they really don't know jack.

You can usually spot the BSers, because they tend to get into minor arguments all the time, over trivial stuff. And usually someone comes along and starightens out the info
I try to stick to what I know, and help where I can. Ive worked on motorcycles for almost 40 years, and quads are very similar in function to motorcycles, except now with all the electronics and fuel injection...things get harder to figure out. I know there are lots of guys out there who know more than me, but sometimes, when a question is just hanging there, and the guy is getting impatient, ill give it a try...sometimes im right, and sometimes i aint, but thats life.
It helps if you had a dad, like mine, (who was about the best mechanic out there), teach me a few things.
