No air box lid or cut lid up

Default No air box lid or cut lid up

Ok got my HMF pipe, K&N filter with a outerwear cover, and rejetted my warrior so should i just take the air box lid off or cut it up like it shows in the dynojet kit?

its up to you since you have a outerwear you wont really get any dirt in the filter as easy i have my airbox lid on still with a hole cut in it on my banshee i got a k&n filter with outerwear and pro flow adapter

Really depends on your riding conditions. If you dont ride in muddy or wet conditions you can definatly just remove your lid. I have mine off on my quadzilla. I have holes cut in mine on my Wolverine because I do ride water and want to keep it fom splashing in as much as possible.

anyone tried the outerwear cover(lid) in wet or muddy condotions?

I ran my raptor w/o a lid last year a couple times in some very wet and muddy conditions. I had an outerwear on a K&N and didnt have any filter problems. If you are going to hit a little water and splash it around, no big deal. If you are going to be transversing huge puddles or trying to cross high water leave the lid intact.
